Launched in 2023 and rooted in behavioural science, the Uncommon Compass helps you delve into your core motivations and your role within our community.

We firmly believe that personal growth begins with self-awareness and exploration. Your Compass, uncovered through guided personal assessments, will uncover your own version of success and be with you through the highs and lows of the journey and evolution of making this vision come to life. Unlike traditional goal-setting, we highlight the community element - the fact that it takes a village (sometimes more) to keep reorienting towards our own version of success.

COACHING TRACKS

Core Coaching Revamp: from logistics to programming.

Understanding that our members experience different career seasons with unique primary goals, we've transformed our Coaching approach. We've shifted from a one-size-fits-all yearly format to offer distinct Coaching Tracks that you can select from.

In response to the challenges faced in Year 1, we've streamlined core group schedules. Members now confirm their participation by committing to all set session dates prior to the start of their Coaching. Additionally, you now have the choice between in-person and virtual sessions, giving you greater control over your level of engagement.

Intentional, Intimate Networking: Uncommon Dinners, every week.

We’ve heard you, and have decided to focus our programming efforts on what we do best: intentional, intimate networking that unlock real growth opportunities.

From January 2024 onwards, we have committed to organising one Uncommon Dinner per week on a pre-defined Theme.

Cultivate Your Leadership: Join the Uncommon Ambassador Program and undergo training to co-host Dinners, enriching your facilitation skills.

  • This Track is designed for leaders who want to show up in their roles feeling grounded and ready to face the challenges ahead. We focus on developing skills in setting a vision, navigating stakeholders, gaining stakeholder buy-in, and making strategic decisions. It's ideal for those looking to transition from mid-career leadership to senior leadership, enabling you to set strategic priorities, improve decision-making, and enhance your vision and stakeholder management abilities.

  • In today's dynamic career landscape, making successful transitions can be challenging. Drawing from personal experiences and research, we provide guidance and support in making informed decisions and taking actionable steps towards the right path for you. Leveraging the Uncommon network can be immensely helpful during this journey.

  • "Demystifying Entrepreneurship," led by Uncommon’s Founder Yolanda Lee and featuring inspiring guest speakers, caters to individuals who dream of starting their own ventures but are currently in corporate roles. We demystify the entrepreneurial process, focusing on de-risking decisions, validating, understanding the micro-steps involved, and providing practical insights for those at the juncture of their careers.

  • "Work-Life Integration" was born out of interviews with hundreds of women during the pandemic. We understand the shift in mindset from building a dream career to building a dream life. This Track helps you explore how to integrate work and life, set boundaries, and make choices that align with your values in different seasons of your career. It's especially valuable for individuals feeling burnt out or seeking to invest in other areas of life while prioritising their careers.

Your renewed membership includes access to two coaching cycles each year: Summer and Winter.

Each cycle features four engaging sessions led by our expert executive coaches in small groups of 8 participants your chosen Track.

Streamlined Logistics for Your Convenience

We understand the demands of your busy schedules and want to ensure you make the most of every session. Core group schedules are now set in advance, ensuring stability and continuity within your group. Each member secures their spot by committing to the four session dates at the time of the core group schedule release, which occurs one month prior to the first session.


In-Person or Virtual: Choose Your Session Style

Opt for in-person or virtual sessions. We value your preferences, and since September 2023, members have committed to either fully virtual or fully in-person core groups.

We’ve also launched space partnerships groups with co-working spaces for in-person group.


Advanced Core Group Matching

This year, we launched Uncommon Matching, an algorithm designed to connect you with members who have complementary personality archetypes, relevant backgrounds, and similar career trajectories. We curate diverse yet cohesive core groups to ensure a strong match that fosters mutual learning within the group.


2022 Pricing with Flexible Payment Options

We understand the importance of choice and predictability. That's why we offer various payment options, allowing you to pay upfront, split into two payments, or opt for quarterly payments. The best part? Your 2022 pricing is guaranteed to stay fixed throughout your renewals, providing both flexibility and financial peace of mind.

The Uncommon Compass serves as a reimagined version of static goal setting. Just like you can come back to a compass to course correct, revise your path and take strides forward, so can this tool serve as a way of checking in with yourself and your growth.

This self-discovery sets the stage for a transformative experience, empowering you to navigate life with a renewed sense of authenticity and purpose within the Uncommon community.


Step 1 Take the Uncommon Personal Assessment (UPA) and uncover your Personality Archetype.

Step 2 Meet with an Uncommon representative to gain deeper insights into your strengths, motivations, and unique path.

Step 3 with your Archetype as your roadmap, we build your Uncommon Compass, Unlike traditional goal-setting, we want to highlight the community element - the fact that it takes a village (sometimes more) to keep reorienting towards our own version of success.
